
TIME OUT X UNSW CASE COMPETITION

TimeOut partnered with UNSW for a case competition that provided university students with the opportunity to brainstorm and pitch innovative solutions to a real-world problem that the media and entertainment industry are faced with during COVID-19. The case competition allowed me to gain hands-on experience and gather valuable insight of the industry. Out of 20 teams, our team got selected to be part of the final 5 teams.
THE BRIEF


Based on these three questions we had to create an overarching campaign idea that helps tackle their problem, create content examples, find ways to utilize their social media platforms, EDM, and homepage, and finally provide mock-ups.
1. How do we reach younger audiences who have been locked in for a year and no longer have the going out mindset?
2. How do we ensure TimeOut remains relevant, but also top of mind in digital, TikTok, and fractured social world?
3. How do we make sure we appeal to the future social planners of our cities?
